Staff 0: It's real and it's fantastic
Last month while attending the Code with Claude conference, Anthropic's developers conference, I was struck by two things:
First, it's clear that their roadmap for everything Claude is managed agents i.e. code that you create, run on their servers, to perform tasks. This is very much aimed at becoming the "AWS for Workloads" as I'm pegging it. They even embraced the AWS language of calling everything a "primitive" that you use to compose larger services. Only instead of Compute, Storage and Queues, it's Agents, Memory and Dreams. This still is going to be expensive. More to come on this in the future.
Second, and more relevant to me today, was the last talk of the conference by Kevin Collins titled Running every layer of two business with Claude Code. Provocative title of course but still deeply interesting to me and my staff-0 ethos. What followed was a distillation and more advanced version of what I had in my head, so digging into juciy slides like this made the whole conference worth it.
yessssss......
Needless to say, I came back from the conference refreshed with a new fire lit under me to get moving. So the first thing I did was replace a static webflow based site for FeedGeni with a single static page site on GitHub Pages.
Copy this website, www.feedgeni.com, and create a static version of the site, deployable on GitHub Pages, then deploy it.
10 minutes later, the new site was live and WebFlow was canceled. Let's go more complex:
Review this code base for SPT, analyze the features, functionality and capabilities. Then create a static site for everything, assuming the target ideal audience is Automotive Parts Manufacturers looking for ecommerce help.
The result is a multi-page site for everything we do, with feature landing pages, FAQs, night mode, contact forms, email signup and custom graphics as well as color scheme / design. By the EOD a site that had stagnated for months was rebuilt and live: https://standardpartstoolkit.com/
This stuff is only the beginning. A bit like breaking the 4 min mile, I just needed a silly kick in the butt to show what I envisioned wasn't super duper out of this work.
Way way way more to come....
Business Update
FeedGeni - New site, but not much else. I'm unsure what to do with the product at this point. It's extremely stable, requires little to no upkeep and is still wildly profitable. Poor me?
SPT - Official relaunched and rebranded as SPT, I'm narrowing the focus to parts manufacturers. We'll still work with multiple part retailers, but for the time being I want to focus my messaging, marketing and functionality at the manufacturer side. Also, just picked up my ticket for AAPEX / SEMA in Nov. See you in Vegas.
No Fixed Plans - No news is good news. Focused on debt servicing and revamping SPT, so no new purchases or exits on tap. I do think NFP is going to look very different at the end summer for a few reasons I'm not ready to share just yet. 👻
Watching / Listening
Good lord, Widow's Bay is great. From Matthew Rhys (a fave every since The Americans) to the perfect mixture of Horror & Comedy to the entire tone of the show production ( just check out this easter egg in Google):

I find Apple originals to be a mixed bag overall, but this one is a smash success. Check it out.
